Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2003 and held postdoc positions in the University of Florida, Cornell University and MIT. He was then a Stephen Hawking Advanced Fellow in the University of Cambridge. Before moving to Harvard University, he was an assistant professor in the University of Texas at Dallas.
