Author and inventor Todd Murphy is a member of Laurentian University’s Neuroscience research program, a leader in studies on the meeting of science and religion, directed by Dr. Michael A Persinger, inventor of the God Helmet. Professor Murphy has also published on the anthropology of spiritual experiences and the evolution of mysticism in human history. He developed the Shakti and Shiva Neural stimulation systems, which made Dr. Persinger’s pioneering neural stimulation work available to the general public.
Murphy is also the author of “Sacred Pathways: The Brain’s role in Religious and Mystic Experiences.”, with forewords by His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, and Dr. Michael Persinger, as well as the book “Déjà vu & Other spiritual gifts”.
